Fortune

Our first entry is this pretty shabby chic vintage tin from Melinda at Crabapple Vintage. Melinda says "To me the word fortune has a sense of mystery and possibility about it and this beautiful tin does, also."

Our second and final entry for the week (insert sad face here), comes from Erica of Mazzy Jewelry Designs. Blue Money, a necklace named after her favorite Van Morrison song, is made of aqua blue chalcedony and oxidized sterling silver. Love that bright blue color!

Saucy

Our first saucy entry (I don't know about you, but I just love this theme!) comes from Pearl over at The Beading Gem. Pearl entered her Diva Double Hoop Earrings. These large and lovely pretties are made with memory wire hoops, Chinese crystals, zinc metal beads and lightweight aluminum.

Next up is a Valentine Hot Goddess Gift Set of Handmade Soap from Andrea of Sacred Suds. Inspired by the sensual goddesses of love and beauty and by Fire (the element of passion), this would be a perfect Valentine's Day gift for the special lady in your life.

Connections

Our first entry this week is from the lovely Anne of Wish Art Glass. She entered her oh-so pretty Festive Burst Fused Glass Light Catcher Suncatcher, which features a gorgeous pattern that just screams connectivity!

Stevie from Designs by Stevie J is next with her I Heart U necklace with interchangeable gems. Stevie chose to enter this piece because "this is a one of a kind treasure for a person who wants to show their love, devotion, and connection to a very special person in their life."

Next up we have Mollie of Rough Magic Holidays with her oh-so pretty Victorian Valentines Handmade Sweetheart Earrings. I love how all those pretty dangles connect right back to the heart!

Last but not least we have Joe from Prospero's Bookshelf with a set of 3 vintage postcards depicting scenes from the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Notice how all of the beams of the bridge connect to create one solid structure? I love it!

Fresh

First up this week we have "Tracks," a fine art photo by Miss Kristin of loveartstudios. Kristin says "At first I was thinking 'springtime' fresh, like some of my flowers, then I thought...'Wait! Fresh like fallen snow and tracks leading away into a Bright New Year! Every journey begins with a single step and off we go with a 'fresh' start into 2011!'"
