Enjoying the Morning Dew

Pearl from Beading Gem is first this week with her shimmery Droplet Sterling Silver Elven Earrings. Look at how the light seems to just dance through those turquoise silver foil beads!

Jill from Moonlight Beadworks is next with her pretty little Handmade Brass Tag Branch Leaves Pendant Necklace. I love how she used green patina to make the leaves pop-- and that she photographed it in the rain so that you can see the little raindrops on her tag!

Erica from Mazzy Jewelry Designs is our third entrant with her Dew Drop earrings. The lovely sterling silver and sage green quartz earrings are so pretty-- especially when they catch the light and little hints of green and gray shine through!

Next up we have Rebecca from Knee Deep Originals with her oh-so colorful Grace of Morning Light painting. Can you hear those birds singing? I think I can!

Ice Cream Truck

First up this week is Karon from Wild Woman Jewelry with her fun Popsicle earrings. The seafoam and orange artisan beads are cool and refreshing-- just like a popsicle hot off the ice cream truck!
Next up is Anne from Wish Art Glass with her awesome Orange Crush Float Fused Glass Necklace. I just love how the orange bubbles float to the top of the vanilla glass. So whimsical and fun-- and it has me craving a Creamsicle!

Mollie from Rough Magic Creations is our next entry with her yummy Glace a la Framboise Pink Peruvian Opal Necklace with Black Diamond Crystals. Something about this necklace is so creamy and delicious!

Gabriele from Fluur brings us her one-of-a-kind Candy Carambolage scarf. This one reminds me of Rainbow Snow Cones. I can see the rainbow of colors dripping down my daughter's chin!

Farmer's Market

First up this week is Yvonne from WoodenNickelsJewelry with her Key to the Vegetable Garden necklace. Yvonne says "This is the ideal pendant to wear to the Farmer’s Market as you take in the aroma of all the goodies Mother Earth lovingly gives us every summer." I think my favorite part is how the freshwater pearls look just like juicy little veggies!
Next up is Erica from Mazzy Jewelry Designs. The rosy quartz beads on her juicy Handmade Modern Oxidized Sterling Silver and Cherry Quartz Earrings are "suspended as if floating in mid-air, just like cherries on a tree!" So cool!

OK, seriously now. Could these be any more FUNtastic?! Kristin from loveartworks submitted her cheery Life Stakes, which are cool rustic planter decor with inspirational words imprinted on them. Love this idea!

Katie from BlackStar is our last entrant this week with her super unique vintage green glass pickle earrings. Made from vintage Japanese glass pickles, these fun eco-friendly ear jewels are sure to spark some conversations the next time you hit up the farmer's market!

Sizzling Hot

Rebecca from Knee Deep Originals brings us our first entry this week with her vibrant Solstice Song painting. I can feel the heat from that brilliant orange sun from here!
Elizabeth from Foret is next with her fiery Dragon, Phoenix Etched Carnelian Earrings. As Elizabeth says herself, "if these were real fire breathing dragons, we'd be toast!"

Erika Price is up next with her big, bold Sunshine Orange Red Lampwork Glass and Leather Necklace. How awesome are all of those artisan beads?!!
Uyen from Asian Expressions is next with her Origami Peace Crane. This personalized decoration that was made with batik print cotton fabric holds crystals and a small pewter crab, which is the symbol for the cancer zodiac sign.

Angie from Cherry and Violet is our next entrant with her sizzling Amber Nugget Chunky Bracelet. The fizzy bubbles inside those eye-popping resin beads make it look like fire is about to burst out of them.

Kasia from Kasia Blue is up next with her gorgeous Ruby, Garnet and Citrine Lotus Pendant in Gold Fill Vermeil. Her description of it alone is enough to make you melt: Inspired by...the passion and fire that consumes you when your heart is open and your path is wide open, when your soul realizes it's potential and takes flight...

Michelle from bMichelle Designs is last this week with her sparkling Summer Fire Beaded Crystal Bracelet. Made with shimmery Swarovski crystals and seed beads, this fiery stunner would look great with just about any outfit!

Blessings for the Gulf Waters

Our first entry this week comes from Pearl of beadinggem. She gives us her sparkling Clear Cross Pendant. As Pearl said herself, "May the waters of the Gulf be clear again some day soon."

Next up we have Katie from BlackStar and her gorgeous Blue and Green Recycled Glass Necklace. The recycled glass beads remind Katie of the beach glass she finds along the Emerald Coast in Florida.

One of our newest members, Lana from Simple Joys Paperie, brings us our next entry: this incredible 1940 Vintage Book Wreath. Made from the upcycled pages of Kathleen Noris's book Maiden Voyage, this lovely wreath is just perfect for this week's theme.

Our next entry is this lovely "Dawn Koi Pond" large serving bowl from Kristin of loveartworks. Kristin said: "I knew this would be my entry as soon as I saw the title. I wish much Peace and Healing to the waters in the Gulf, (like this serene Koi pond) and Hope that one day they are restored to their former rich and diverse Glory and Abundance!"

Mollie from Rough Magic Holidays is next with her totally dreamy Beach Dream necklace. Made with creamy coin pearls, polished winkle shells, peachy red aventurine hearts and sparkly pictures, it's hard to imagine anything more beachy than this beauty!

Erica of Mazzy Jewelry Designs gives us our sixth entry this week with her beautiful sterling silver and glass earrings. Erica's description of them makes me long for a beachy getaway (guess I'll just have to settle for a tropical drink!): "These gorgeous earrings harbor waves of bright yellow and aqua blue cascading through them just like the sun on the water over a tropical island."

Next up is Malia of BeadFrenZ. She entered these royal blue freshwater pearl beads. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Just think of all the pretty pieces you could make with these!

Like all of her designs, this next entry from Jean of 3squares just oozes cool. Her Crab Cakes bracelet is a fitting reminder of the wildlife in the Gulf.

Last but not least, we have this beautiful stunner from Kasia of KasiaBlue. The description of Kasia's gorgeous Ocean Wave necklace says it all: "The call of the ocean lures you to its rhythmic motions as waves lap the sandy shores." Count me in!

This sweet piece from Suz of Polkadot Magpie came a little too late for the vote, but it just had to be included. Suz is donating the proceeds of her Help the Gulf Coast Bird Recycled Copper Pendant to OxFam America and the National Wildlife Federation through helpthegulfgcoast.etsy.com.
